Terms of Service

Last updated: [effective date]

These terms govern your use of Dedica, a service that checks how well AI agents can use a website. Dedica is operated by [company legal name], [registered address] (“we”, “us”). By using Dedica or buying a fix kit, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

When you enter a website address, Dedica checks the publicly accessible parts of that site and shows a score, the problems it found, and suggested fixes. The free report shows part of the findings. The paid fix kit contains an instruction file for every problem the check found, which you can hand to a coding assistant.

2. Using Dedica responsibly

  • Only check websites you own, operate, or have permission to assess.
  • Do not use Dedica to overload, attack, or gain unauthorised access to any website or system.
  • Do not resell, scrape, or automate access to Dedica without our written permission.
  • Do not use Dedica for anything unlawful.

3. What the results are, and are not

Scores, findings and estimated score gains come from automated checks at the time of the scan. Websites, AI agents and the checks themselves change over time, so results may be incomplete or out of date. A score is not a certification, a guarantee that any AI agent will use your site, or legal, security or professional advice.

4. The fix kit

The fix kit is digital content made for the scanned site and delivered as a download straight after payment, with a link sent by email. It contains instructions only; it does not change your website. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and deploying any change you or your coding assistant make, and for keeping backups.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars on the checkout page before you pay. [State whether prices include tax.] Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details. A launch price applies only until the date shown on the checkout page.

6. Refunds

[Refund policy to be decided, for example: “Because the fix kit is delivered immediately, purchases are final, except where the law requires otherwise.” If you sell to consumers in the EU or UK, checkout must ask buyers to agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that this ends their right to cancel.]

7. Intellectual property

Dedica, its software and its content belong to us or our licensors. You may use the reports and fix kits you obtain for your own business, including sharing them with the people who work on your website. Your website and its content remain yours.

8. Third-party services

Dedica relies on third-party providers for scanning, payments, email delivery and analytics. Links to other websites, including the coding assistants we mention, are for convenience; we are not responsible for them.

9. Disclaimers and limits of liability

Dedica is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Dedica is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes and ending use

We may update the service and these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes go to the courts of [jurisdiction], unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: [contact email]. See also our Privacy Policy.
